KYC FAQ

Is the widget customizable?

Yes. You can configure colors, logo, and text through the client portal. The capture flow (which steps are shown) is also configurable via the API when creating the session.

How long does a verification take?

The webhook fires in under 8 seconds after the user completes the capture flow. For manual review cases, it can take up to 24 hours.

What happens if the webhook fails?

The system retries up to 5 times with exponential backoff (1s, 5s, 30s, 2min, 10min). If all attempts fail, you can query the result via the API at any time.

Can I test in sandbox without paying?

Yes. The sandbox environment is free and unlimited. Use the documented test CPFs to simulate the different possible outcomes.

Which documents are accepted?

Brazilian driver's license (CNH), national ID (RG), and Brazilian passport. The document must be physical — photos of screens or scans are not accepted.
