Auth 1:1 FAQ

Does Auth 1:1 require the user to have done KYC first?

Yes. Auth 1:1 reuses the facial embedding generated during KYC Verify. The user needs at least one approved KYC verification on your platform.

What is "liveness"?

Liveness is the detection that the person is present and alive — not a photo or recorded video. The widget requests random movements (blinking, turning) to confirm real presence.

How much does it cost?

$0.04 per authentication, no minimum contract and no monthly fee. Volume discounts are available — contact us to learn more.

Does Auth 1:1 use separate credits from KYC?

Yes. Auth 1:1 credits and KYC credits are independent balances — you purchase and track them separately in the portal.

Is it the same API key as KYC?

Yes. The same API key (sk_live_... or sk_test_...) authorizes both KYC and Auth 1:1. No need to create separate keys.
